Introduction
We joined East Grinstead Swimming Club as a sponsor in July 2025.
It works differently to our pitch-side sponsorships: instead of a unit at fixtures, our coffee sits on the club desk, and what the members buy comes back to club funds.

EGSC — the E-Grays — is a community swimming club in West Sussex, running squads from learn-to-swim through to competitive galas. Like every club its size, it's held together by volunteers, coaches and officials, and funded by whatever the members and fundraising can raise between them.
Our Colombia coffee bags are stocked at the club desk, available whenever it's open, plus pre-order by email through the club's fundraising address. Coffee bags rather than beans was a deliberate choice: no grinder, no machine, no faff — which is what you want at six in the morning before a session.
Every bag bought through the club puts money straight back into club funds — pool time, kit, entry fees, the things a volunteer committee is always fundraising for. It costs a member nothing extra: they were buying coffee anyway, and this way the buying does two jobs at once.
We've also backed the club's competitions, including a Bless Start hamper for one of the gala winners: espresso beans, reusable cups and a few extras. Swimmers get medals; we thought the parents who'd been poolside since seven deserved something too.
Swimming clubs run on early starts and unpaid hours, and the people doing them are the same sort we build units for. A retail arrangement suits a club like EGSC better than a banner: it keeps giving all season, it needs no one to staff it, and it turns an ordinary weekly purchase into club funding.
